Soft. Flowy. Whimsical

One thing i absolutely adore about maxi skirts is that you can pair them with button-up tops like how we did with our SU ESTILO Weekend Shirt and the Pleated Maxi Skirt here , under a structured blazer for work appropriate days, or even paired with a bandeau bikini for the beach! The options are endless and all we can say is maxis are here to stay ;)

Namecard Doodling

We finally got on to finishing our "little namecard project" yesterday, in preparation for a Charity Fashion Show that is soon approaching (that's story for another day!).

Excited as always, we couldn't help (and still can't help) musing over the finished product. Narcissistic, we know, but sometimes it's fun to be transformed into little children again, appreciating our own girly efforts :)

Hope you like it just as much as we do! :)

The above photos were taken when we were tired of wrecking our brains for the more serious stuff...

the view from up here

Beautiful isn't it? Somehow you can still manage to salvage a sense of calm and beauty from this concrete jungle of ours.
It's been a crazy few weeks since our first launch and it's only going to get crazier!! But strangely we don't mind. :)
Happy Friday everybody!! Have a blessed weekend ahead and thank you all who've been so supportive especially our lovely customers.

It's All in the Details

Attention to detail is the essence of a serious fashionista.
We're no fashionistas, far from it, but what we lack in experience we make up by reading a lot...a lot of fashion magazines and blogs haha.
One of our favourite fashion bloggers at Mellow Mayoness is a detail queen. I admire her ability to "own" everything she puts on.
Lovely feather detailing at the shoulders
Adding a pop of colour to an otherwise muted outfit
Bow print ankle stockings? Genius!
Detailed flower belt which is oh so dainty!

We Heart : Toga Dresses

When we think of Toga Dresses we imagine walking along the beach, shoulders sunkissed and soft shiny hair flowing with the summer breeze. Yes, we definitely adore Toga Dresses for the fact that they make us feel like Grecian princesses. ;)

However, getting the right fit and style is just as important in achieving the look!
We've come up with a few tips and tricks, tried and tested, of course!  :)

1. Choose loose, flowy and softer styles to enhance your curves and show off those sexy shoulders!

2. To flatter the bustline choose ruched detailing. But do make sure that the ruching doesn't go beyond your waistline to avoid the "excess pouch" look!

3. Cinch a belt at the waist for added silhouette effect. Look out for toga dresses that already come with a tie-waist.

4. To complete the look slip on a pair of roman sandals but for those who are less height inclined don't fret because there's always a gorgeous pair of platform sandals to save the day. :)

Most importantly have fun with your outfits! Fashion is never serious :)

They say the simplest things in life are the best

A gorgeous pair of nude pumps
A mean pair of denim shorts that flatters the derriere ;)

A yummy and most likely very sinful piece of dessert i can't live without
A beautiful addition to my wardrobe, if only
A simple updo that is both feminine and timeless

Ok so i admit this last one is not as simple as i wished it were, not in the least. But isn't it gorgeous? :P

It's finally official!

We thought we'd never get to say this but SU-ESTILO.COM has finally gone "live"!

We're giddy, we're excited but most importantly we can't thank you enough to all our family and friends for their support throughout.

It's been months of hard work and we gave our 110%. But we believe there is always room for improvement and we hope we will be given that opportunity to grow into something more!

We have exciting news lined up and we're already planning our next launch so watch out for this space for previews and check out our Facebook. Or just drop by to see what we're up to. :)

with lots and lots of love,
M & C
